Friends, I haven’t written for a long time — my life has been exciting and very full. I have been recording with some incredible musicians in New York on my Troublin’ Mind CD project — I’m very excited about where it is going — Patrick Lo Re is producing the record (with me over his shoulder of course), and Jamey Haddad is putting his hand into the mix as well, along with playing incredible percussion tracks. A very primitive taste of the new recording is on yonder side (to the right)… stay tuned for more updates on that front.

And this coming weekend I will be in Minnesota at a workshop for Light into the World: Hope for a New Day — my new social justice worship service. I’m very excited to see old friends, and to celebrate using this new service. I will also be playing a gospel concert with my good buddy Micah Schonberg and the amazing songwriter Jeshua Erickson on Saturday night in Minneapolis — so if you are in the area, please stop by!
For more information on the workshop this weekend in Minnesota, contact me here, or go to www.bethlehem-lutheran.net/bluegrass, and for more information on my recordings and compositions, please visit my regular site www.kentgustavson.com — you will see links to all of the music from there (or there are free mp3’s just to the right, here on my blog…
I hope spring is treating you well. Many blessings.
