I’ve been messing around with the nanoplayer plugin for wordpress, and finally, I figured out how to have the player play random tunes upon reload! So, I did imbed the player, and it will assault your ears at every loading of this page! If you have problems with that, please voice your concerns!

Just as a sidenote, I’ve decided to re-enable the automatic radio on my sidepanel. If you can’t stand automatic radios, send along a comment, and I’ll greatly consider turning off the automatic feature…

I’ve been working for about 2 years on an album called Troublin’ Mind — (listen to clips from the early mixes on the sidebar!). Originally, I had intended to simply record a new album with my trio, Stolen Shack, with the addition of my best buddy, Micah Schonberg, with whom I recorded on my Live in Vermont album…

The project has grown out of proportion, as has the sound! I am working with some incredible musician — Jamey Haddad, Larry Campbell, Aruna Sairam — people that I am excited to be in a room with, let alone play tunes with…

I have now installed another ‘automatic’ radio on the sidebar. For a while I had it play automatically when someone opens the browser, but it drives me nuts that the thing loads up every time the spreadsheet loads! Check it out by clicking the play button, then choosing a ‘chill’ track:)

The best, by far, is Kek’s Zanorg Flash Radio! Check out the Radios on the sidebar. You do have to click it yourself, but it opens up in a new window, and continues to play until you tell it to stop! It is not connected in any way to the message you are looking at, or the spreadsheet.

And, he gives you the possibility to easily install a background image to customize your radio, and he has a page where your radio can be listed alongside many others just like it from other people!

The others are great for blogs, and I will certainly use them, but, for me, Kek’s are the best radios!

I would love to hear from other people who have tried out Kek’s radios, or the other embedded radios, as to which you prefer.
